07/30/08
Station 25 was dispatched for an automatic fire alarm at 6533 Laurel Hollow Drive, Lot F-503 in Pocono Country Place at 16:04 hours. 25-9-4 and 25-6-12 responded. While responding county advised the department that the alarm company had confirmed a false alarm. At that time the department was canceled and all Station 25 units were clear at 16:08.

Station 25 was dispatched for an automatic fire alarm at Coolbaugh Learning Center at 15:24 hours. 25-9-1 and 25-9 responded to find the alarm had been set off do to maintenance work in the building. After clearing the rest of the school all Station 25 units were clear at 15:43.

Station 25 was dispatched for an automatic fire alarm at 100 Community Drive (Mountain Healthcare) at 04:52 hours. Units responded to find no fire. Station 25 was then clear at 05:23.

Station 25 was dispatched for an automatic fire alarm at 5003 Country Club drive at 16:54 hours. 25-8-2 repsonded. While responding control advised the department that the alarm company had confirmed a false alarm. 25-8-2 and all Station 25 units were then canceled and clear at 16:58.

Station 25 and ALS Station 11-1 were dispatched for a Code 45 on Pocono Country Place Drive at the corner of Blackbird Drive at 23:29 hours. Per security on scene EMS was not needed and ALS Unit 11-21 was canceled. 25-8, Rescue 25-4-4, and Quint 25-6-12 responded to find one vehicle off the side of the road. The driver had lost control of the vehicle and crashed into a rock wall before coming to a stop on the side of the roadway. Units shut down the roadway until Pocono Mt. Regional police arrived and took control of the situation. At that time all Station 25 units were clear at 00:23 hours.

Station 25 was dispatched for a smoke investigation in the area of Susex Drive off Route 611 at 22:24 hours. 25-8 responded. Upon arrival 25-8 found a controlled fire contained to an outside stove. 25-8 canceled the departent and all Station 25 units were clear at 22:33 hours.

Station 25 was dispatched for an automatic fire alarm at 620 Fergus Way in Pocono Farms East at 17:00 hours. Then just minutes later the department was canceled per the alarm company reporting a false alarm. All Station 25 units were clear at 17:04

Station 25 and ALS Station 11-1 were dipatched for a Code 45 on Route 196 at the entrance to Pocono Farms at 13:19. 25-8-1 originally responded to find a car and a three-wheel motorcycle off of the roadway. He then decided the department wasn't needed and had all Station 25 units canceled at 13:25.

After celebrating field day with the community of Pocono Country Place, Station 25 personnel witnessed a Code 45 golf cart rollover in the parking lot. Station 25 units quickly responded and assisted in immobilizing and packaging all patients while awaiting EMS arrival.

Station 25 was dispatched for a possible brush fire in the area of Fallstaff and Hamlet Drive in Pocono Farms East at 23:47. 25-8 and 25-8-2 originally responded. While looking for the reported brush fire 25-8 drove upon a fully involved vehicle fire on a dead end road. Engine 25-1-2 and Tanker 25-2-6 then responded. Other assiting units included the Pocono Mt. Regional Police. The fire was quickly knocked down and all Station 25 units were clear at 01:08.

Station 25 was dipatched for an automatic fire alarm at Lot B-68 on Clover Drive in Pocono Country Place at 17:09 hours. 25-7, 25-1-2, and 25-6-12 responded to find no evidence of fire. 25-7 and all other Station 25 units were then clear at 17:32 hours.

Station 25 and BLS Station 11-1 were dispatched for a dwelling fire reported smoke in the residence at 1794 Tyuga Drive in Pocono Farms at 19:35. 25-7 and 25-8 responded. 25-8 on scene reported negative fire and smoke. All units were canceled and Station 25 and BLS Station 11-1 were clear at 19:41.

Station 25 was dipatched for a possible carbon monoxide leak at 562 Carlton Road off of Rt. 423 at 16:41 hours. Engine 25-1-2 and Quint 25-6-12 responded. Units ariived and searched the building with a multi-gas meter to find no signs of elevated carbon monoxide. The home was rendered safe and all units were clear at 17:10.

Station 25 Rescue and ALS Station 11-1 were dispatched for a lift assist with Station 11 BLS Unit 11-03 on scene of Idlewild Drive with request for a stokes basket at 12:54. 25-8-1 and Rescue 25-4-4 responded. After assisting EMS on scene all Station 25 units were clear at 13:19

Station 25 and ALS Station 11-2 were dispatched for a Code 45 Pedestrian reported with minor injuries on Rob Roy Drive at Buckingham Circle at 18:38. 25-8 was first on scene and reported the department was not needed. All Station 25 units were canceled at 18:42.

Station 25 and ALS Station 11-1 were dispatched for a Code 45 Motorcycle on Hamlet Drive at Titania Road at 18:07. 25-8 was first on scene and reported the department was not needed. All Station 25 units were canceled at 18:17.

Station 25 and ALS Station 11-1 were dispatched for a Code 45 on Eagle Rock Drive in Pocono Country Place at 18:51. Moments after dispatch, Pocono Mt. Regional Police on scene reported the fire department was not needed. Station 25 was then canceled and all units were clear at 18:53.

Station 25 was dipatched for a reported Pole Fire at H-408 Bumblebee Way in Pocono Country Place at 20:06 hours. 25-7 and 25-8-1 responded. As per 25-7 on scene there was no fire. He then canceled all other units and Station 25 was clear at 20:10 hours.

Station 25 and BLS and ALS Station 11-1 were dispatched for a Code 45 on Echo Lake Road between Lake Road and Laurel Drive at 18:19 hours. Rescue 25-4-4, Tanker 25-2-6, and BLS Unit 11-03 responded to find a vehicle off of the roadway into a tree with the driver clear of the vehicle. Units disconected the vehicles battery and EMS treated and transported the driver to the hospital for a minor head injury. All Station 25 units were then clear at 18:55.

Station 25 and BLS Station 11-1 were dispatched for a reported dwelling fire at 4505 Briarcliff Terrace at 04:38 hours. Units responded to find no sign of smoke or heat. Upon further investigation of the residence with a thermal imaging camera all units were clear at 05:18.

Station 25 was dispatched for a lift assist with BLS Unit 11-03 already on scene to 9037 Idlewild Drive at 01:35 hours with special request for a stokes basket. Station 25 units were then realerted for adiitional man power at 01:42. Rescue 25-4-4 responded. Units asissted EMS on scene and were clear at 02:09.

Station 25 was dispatched for a gas grill fire at 192 Main Street in Tobyhanna at 19:45 hours. 25-8-1, 25-1-2, and 25-6-12 responded to find a gas grill on fire. Units responding put the fire out with an extinguisher and were clear at 20:01.

Station 25 was dipatched for lifting assistance with the police on scene and ambulance in route to 305 Rennesance Lane in Whispering Glen at 18:58 hours. Units responding assisted EMS in removing the patient from the home and were clear at 19:26.

Station 25 and BLS Station 11-1 were dispatched for a reported Code 45 pedestrian hit by a vehicle in the area of 204-A Evergreen Circle in Sterling Estates at 00:18 hours. Then just minutes after the dispatch at 00:23 all Station 25 units were canceled per the police on scene reporting the situation to be unfounded.

During the fourth of July celebration at The Pocono Farms Country Club Station 25 units were dispatched for an automatic fire alarm at the K-Clubhouse in Pocono Country Place at 16:07 hours. Engine 25-1-2 responded to find cooking smoke on the second floor of the clubhouse. Units responding vented the building and were clear at 16:27.

Station 25 celebrated the fourth of July today with the community at The Pocono Farms Country Club. The day began at 12:00pm with a bicycle parade in which the children of the community got a chance to decorate their own bikes and show them in the parade along with Engine 25-1-2 and Rescue 25-4-4. The festivities continued with a BBQ lunch.

Station 25 and BLS Station 11-1 were dispatched for a dwelling fire in the ceiling at 734 Navahoe Place at 14:18 hours. Per 911 dispatch the caller reported that there was an odor of smoke in the home and heat coming from an air vent in the ceiling. BLS Unit 11-06, Engine 25-1-2, and Tanker 25-2-6 responded to the residence to find no sign of fire. After further inspection with a thermal imaging camera to look for any signs of heat, the home was rendered safe. All Station 25 units were clear at 14:46.
